About
The Diebel Family- Tim, Christine, Ryan and Rebecca bought the farm in 1994.
Tim was raised in a logging family and decided that he should grow Christmas trees to supply education and work for his family. They began planting Christmas trees in 2001. They learnt the trade from retiring Christmas tree growers about planting, pruning, and care for the trees. Tim and Christine joined the Christmas Tree Growers association of Ontario and have continued learning and networking with growers from across the province. This a family business where everyone is involved in planting, spraying, pruning and harvesting of the trees. Tim and Christine have since developed a secondary business of landscaping and spading trees for subdivisions in towns and on farms. The Diebel family now has over 22,000 deciduous and coniferous trees on the farm in various stages of growth.
The 2022 Christmas tree season will be approaching. Due to the demand for fresh cut trees we will not be operating the U-cut program this year. We do have fresh cut Christmas trees available for the public to purchase on the farm. We are open Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm during the Christmas tree season. Our Christmas tree season begins Saturday November 20, 2021. The trees that we have available include: Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir, White Spruce, Blue Spruce, Scotch Pine and Serbian Spruce. Prices vary according to the type and size of tree.
